About the Author
Cathy Diez-Luckie brings the past alive by integrating art and history in her award-winning activity books for children. Movable action figures captivate and engage children as they learn about the great leaders of history. Diez-Luckie's art has appeared nationally and internationally in numerous illustrated reference books, children's books, and magazines. Trained at the Toledo Museum of Art and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, she also holds a graduate degree from Stanford University. She lives in Bellingham, WA, with her husband and children, who happily test-drive her movable figure prototypes.
