About the Author

James Swallow is an veteran author and scriptwriter with over 15 years of experience in fiction, television, radio, journalism, new media and video games. Una McCormack is the author of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novels The Never-Ending Sacrifice, Hollow Men, and Worlds of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Vol. 1: Cardassia, as well as the Doctor Who novels The King’s Dragons and The Way Through the Woods. She lives in the United Kingdom.

Chris Dows is a writer and educational advisor with over twenty years' experience in writing comic books, stories and non-fiction. His works for Black Library include the Khârn the Betrayer novel The Red Path and a number of Warhammer 40,000 short stories, including 'The Mouth of Chaos', 'Monolith', and 'Glory from Chaos'. He is also one of the authors whose work features in the Deathwatch: Ignition anthology. He lives in Grimsby, England with his wife and two children.

Greg Cox (born 1959) is an American writer of science fiction, including works that are media tie-ins. He lives in Oxford, Pennsylvania. He has written numerous Star Trek novels, including The Eugenics Wars (Volume One and Two), The Q Continuum, Assignment: Eternity, and The Black Shore. His short fiction can be found in such anthologies as Star Trek: Tales of the Dominion War, Star Trek: The Amazing Stories and Star Trek: Enterprise logs. His first "Khan" novel, The Eugenics Wars: Volume One, was voted best sci-fi book of the year by the readers of Dreamwatch magazine. Cox can be found in a bonus feature on the "Director's Edition" DVD of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

A staff writer on Star Trek: Voyager, Lisa Klink worked on that series for three years. She has also worked on several other shows, including Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Roswell, and Pandora. Lisa has written or co-written four novels, as well as short stories, graphic novels and screenplays.
