BREAKTHROUGH GENE THERAPY FOR ANXIETY TREATMENT
With more than 30 percent of Americans experiencing anxiety disorders at some point in their lives—and with treatment costs continuing to rise—there is growing demand for innovative solutions that address anxiety at its biological roots.
In Brain Medicine, neuroscientist Troy Rohn, PhD, presents a bold and hopeful vision for the future of anxiety treatment. Blending cutting-edge neurological research with his own lived experience struggling with anxiety, Dr. Rohn introduces a first-of-its-kind therapeutic approach aimed at treating anxiety with unprecedented molecular precision. By targeting a key serotonin receptor through advanced gene-based techniques, he explores a promising new pathway for addressing chronic anxiety and related memory challenges.
Inside Brain Medicine, you will discover:
• The emerging potential of genetic therapies to transform anxiety treatment
• How DNA editing technologies may one day be applied to mental health
• A forward-looking exploration of the future of neuroscience and psychiatry
• The complex journey from early-stage laboratory research to clinical application
• Key ethical considerations driving innovation in mental health care
Whether you're a clinician looking for the latest scientific advancements or an individual seeking deeper understanding of chronic anxiety, Brain Medicine offers clear, insightful, and compassionate guidance. It’s time to rethink how we treat anxiety—starting at its source.
