About the Author
Tomoko Suzuki is an award-winning illustrator based in Tokyo and a graduate of Musashino Art University.Her works include the picture books Pancakes to Parathas: Breakfast Around the World and Feasts and Festivals Around the World: From Lunar New Year to Christmas published by Little Bee Books, and Open Up, Open Up! and Children of the World by Wonder House Books. Tomoko was one of the winning artists of the 2019 Northern Lights Book Awards and the 2023 Bologna Children's Book Fair Award. Her books have also been published as Canadian, Korean and Japanese editions. With her distinctive illustrations, Tomoko brings stories to life for readers around the globe.
