About the Author

A design consultant for Olivetti since 1979, Michele De Lucchi's many design credits include the pavilion of the Groninger City Museum in the Netherlands, Artemide's Tolomeo lamp series, and more than 50 Fiorucci shops. He operates aMDL studio, a Milan-based design firm, and has won numerous design awards, such as the Compasso d'Oro.
