About the Author
Anupa Lal has been writing for children since she was a child herself, several decades ago. Her first published book was a picture book titled The Rescue. She went on to write more books including collections of poems for children. Retelling folktales for children have been a very moving and inspiring experience for her. Besides writing for them, she enjoys interacting with children. She has visited several schools, in and around Delhi for storytelling and creative writing sessions.Ishan Trivedi is an artist, illustrator, writer and a storyteller. He has also co-founded Illustrator Today ― a learning studio for budding artists to improve their talents. Ishan has a keen eye for detail and his illustrated works speak volumes about his skills and inborn talent. Ishan has worked with several authors, has won awards and recognition worldwide. Boondi, Nimboda and The Enchanted Prince are some of his awarded works in India and abroad. He enjoys sculpting in his free time, besides brain-storming for new ideas.
