About the Author
Originally from Russia, Roman Muradov lives and works in London. He works in various artistic fields — cartoons, illustration, art direction — and for various media: The New Yorker, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Vogue, and Washington Post. In 2014, he won the Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators.
Jesse Reklaw grew up in Sacramento, studied at UC Santa Cruz, and completed a master’s degree in computer science at Yale University. In 1995, while pursuing a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence, he began self-publishing comics and dropped out of Yale to be a cartoonist.
Nick Thorburn is a Canadian musician (Islands, Unicorns), composer (the themes for Serial and The Paper), cartoonist (the graphic novel Penguins), and sometimes actor. He lives in Los Angeles.
Noah Van Sciver is an Ignatz award-winning cartoonist whose work has appeared in the Best American Comics series, the Fantagraphics anthology series NOW, and Mad magazine. His many graphic novels include The Hypo and The Complete Works of Fante Bukowski. He lives with his family in Columbia, SC.
