A complete, user-friendly guide to Zion National Park, written by an
interpretive park ranger. It's like having a park ranger in your back
pocket.
Ron Kay has been exploring and guiding in Utah's Zion National Park for
more than 30 years. During that time and in the course of his work as an
official U.S. interpretive park ranger, he has answered thousands of
questions from park visitors and knows exactly where they want to go and
what they want to see. Designed to be useful for any person who wants
to visit Zion National Park—from first-time visitors to repeat guests
ready to see and learn something new—this guide includes complete trail
descriptions, maps, mountaineering tips, climbing spots, a detailed trip
planner, and fascinating commentary about the park's natural and human
history, geology, flora and fauna. Also included are Ron's
recommendations for visiting Bryce and Grand Canyon National Parks.
