About the Author

Sourya grew up in Laos, and moved to France at the age of 15. He's always been passionate about drawing, and was heavily influenced by mangas in his teenage years (authors like Akira Toriyama, Rumiko Takahashi, Hayao Miyazaki,...). He went to animation school in Paris (LISAA) and Angoulême (EMCA), where he developed his drawing skills and storytelling sense. Once he graduated, Sourya never worked in the animation industry, but instead, signed his first comic book as an illustrator with Ankama Editions in 2012.

And after working a few years with Ankama, Sourya released his first manga in 2018 : Talli, Daughter of the Moon."
