This lively search-and-find book invites children to explore a bustling city where every resident hopes to be top dog and has a story to tell.

Every character adds personality, and together they create a town that feels as vibrant and varied as a real city — alive with humor, energy, and warmth.  Illustrated with wit and precision, this large-format board book is at once a playful look-and-find and a joyful portrait of the imagined urban life of man’s best friend.

From the Corgi who loves to teach to an ice-skating Poodle, each page overflows with activity and is packed full of delightful details to spot.  Children can take in the bustle of markets, playgrounds, concerts, and picnics, while adults and older readers alike can enjoy recognizing the traits of each breed woven into the character’s personalities.

For example, meet Tim, the stylist Terrier who owns the hat shop; Coco, the energetic Chihuahua ballerina who is always on the move; and Duke, the Great Dane, who keeps the town entertained with his busking.

• A classic look-and-find book with a lovable, quirky canine difference.
• A handy “Who’s Who” on the back cover introduces all the dogs of Houndtown.
• Characters are organized by name and breed, encouraging you to follow your favourites.
